I suppose we haven't announced any events at all yet and have only recently tested it for event set up, so I'm sure it won't be like this forever.

Ah we managed to fit most of a rugby pitch in though
The stadium has been open for just a few months. The talks with promoters.for MCR and Foo Fighters will have been going on for some time, more than likely well before HD was even handed over to us, so pointless losing any sleep over it.

The advantage that we do have over Anfield is that they are restricted to a MAXIMUM of six non-football events a year, due to being right in the middle of a residential area. They also have a strict 11pm curfew for these events. We do not have these restrictions, so can host as many events as we like with NO curfew. In fact, the Club applied for a 3am licence, so they've clearly got a plan of some sort.

Steel Yard has been held in the area for a number of years now without complaint, so hosting very late night events at HD should not be an issue at all.

Re. the last 16 game (not fully shown in the preview above):

The last-16 games will take place at each host stadium except Wembley, meaning England will play at St James' Park if they win their group, or Hill Dickinson Stadium if they finish second.

Wonder if they'll still ignore the transport problems as Rotherham can't be sure this Euro's are actually going to go ahead?

I'm not that fussed about England. Would love to see Spain and France playing just for the likes of Yamal and Mbappe to be playing at our stadium. Although I guess we might draw them in the 27/28 champions league anyway.

Based on what we know so far:

Group D - Northern Ireland group if qualified
Group A - Wales group if qualified
Group C - No home nations/No ROI
A1 v B2 - Wales Group v England Group

Not sure how the draw will work this time around but in 2012 then Ukraine and Poland placed as first pot seeds, so hopefully that isn't the case here because I don't want to be watching Ethan Ampadu when I could be watching Pedri.

If you've got an extra 1200 quid lying around, this looks nice!

Nice to see Bramley Moore pub full of people going to the Kneecap gig tonight. Everton scarves all over the gaff on the walls and in people's photos!

I wish I was brave enough to get involved with kneecap. I went to see the MaryWallopers with my wife last year and loved every second of them.
