Re: Man United v Everton
I'm predicting Keane's first bad game of the season here.
We'll compete for 30 minutes, the crowd will turn on them, then we'll give up a howler (insert keane) and look intimidated and out of place. That won't change until the last 10 when Moyes will finally make the changes we need, but it'll be too late and we'll lose the game having created just as many chances but without the ability to finish them off.
United will then lose 2 of their next 3 against teams we need to stay above.

Man United v Everton
I reckon there’s a decent chance for a draw here.
United can basically only score on the counter and Moyes will have us camped in our own half pinging balls at Beto on his todd.
It’ll be a terrible watch but we might get a nil nil

You’re probably right. Just fucking hate sitting back for 90 and watching teams try to unpick us.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Wed Nov 19, 2025 11:33 am I reckon there’s a decent chance for a draw here.

You give any team enough ground and it gives them confidence and control - remember at Wolves?
It’s just setting up not to lose, it’s not setting up to win, and if you bet the house on not letting one in - if you do you’re fucked because you’re in no position to attack.

Re: Man United v Everton
I think at this point it's like a defence mechanism.
If I'm disappointed before we've even lost, things can't get worse but might get better.
