I can't feel angry about him, he seemed to genuinely care and was visibly devastated when he was failing. He was the wrong manager for us but he tried his best.

Surprised how well he is doing but will see how it pans out long term. His tenure was probably the most frightened I've been of getting relegated. He genuinely had absolutely no clue what he was doing. It wasn't a lack of effort. He just had nothing.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Don't know what his team at Coventry is like but seemed like Paul Clement was left with the tactical work when he was at Everton. Incredibly naïve when he was here. Like Benitez was a coward in his approach but they were at least tactics.
Lampard is probably the worst manager from a tactical POV that I've seen at Everton.

More or less nailed on for promotion now barring huge self destruction.Gash wrote:Happy to see Lampard doing well, I still think out of his generation of players he's the one who could make it as a decent manager, perhaps it was just too early here, perhaps he'll just be a really good Championship manager.
Always liked Coventry too and after all the trumoil they've had over the last 20-30 years it would be great to see them back in the PL.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Watched a video about him in the summer, basically Estevao is seen as the same ability level as Neymar was supposed to reach.
Obviously with young players development doesn't always go as planned, but essentially he's seen as the next one after Yamal who's got GOAT level potential.
