I keep forgetting how young he is. Doesn’t turn 23 until after the season.

Tim - 23
Dibbling - 19
Armstrong - 18
Rohl - 23
Alcaraz - 22

Branthwaite - 23
O'Brien - 24
Aznou - 19

Barry - 23

Lots of good positive potential here. Just need to manage things well with development and opportunity.

Having players like Grealish, NDiaye, Pickford, KDH and Gueye (yes even this mad head) around them is going to do them good as well as they develop.

Big two months for him to stake his claim.

Must admit I'm starting to think there's a chance he ends up a decent player, having written him off previously. He's got a lot of positive traits and if he can sort out his reading of the game and his positional discipline then there's hope for him.

He's still not convinced me, He just doesn't do enough of anything for me, just little bits of everything to an ok standard. But he'll get more game time over the next few weeks so I'm happy to be proved wrong. Especially weird that Garner still gets loads of shit on here and I'd have him all day over PSR Tim

Yup, but we won’t appear in any tables showing young average age of squad because every time Coleman gets 5 mins it throws the average out by 50 years!

It’s the hope that kills ya.

But yeah, I’d love him to blossom.

Would have benefitted from a full season out on loan and kept Armstrong here so he could be playing every week, learning about the game both positionally and developing his own identity of what he is. He has the raw ingredients but he lacks game time to develop. He is four years further on in his development than Armstrong so should really be approaching the stage where we can assess whether he has it in him to be a player at this level. At the minute we have no idea.

With Gana gone till February he will get plenty of game time, it’s just as important that Armstrong is currently getting the game time that he wouldn’t have got if we hadn’t sent him out on loan.

Armstrong wouldn't have got the minutes here, he's getting loads at Preston compared to what Tim has had here.
