I kind of think if you don't attend 10/19 home games then you should lose your season ticket. Possibly an unpopular opinion like.
Wasn't this mentioned in the summer? I thought this had been brought in because I remember thinking Arsneal and City were bad for doing it and then we went and did it too?

United take season tickets off people for non-attendance. Pretty strict I've heard as well.

The fact you are not able to pass a physical ticket to your mate and need to transfer it digitally means they can keep a much closer track of non-attending season ticket holders.

I think Man United is 17/19 but that includes selling your ticket back to the club

I take back my earlier comment tbf. You could have a season ticket for years and then have a hellish year where you're unable to go to most matches, doesn't mean you should lose your season ticket.

I do think there's probably an issue with people buying a season ticket and then not going to a lot of matches though.

Even in a good year I miss more than 2 to be honest.
Life just gets in the way, especially around Christmas for example.

There are definitely people that buy season tickets just to sell them though. All up for hunting those cretins down.

Being in South wales there' a dozen or so of us who try to get up a couple of times a year.
A few years ago one of the lads, Clarkie sadly passed away.
He was one of the original group of us that had been going since the early 80's, and it hit most of us like a ton of bricks when he went.
To cut a long story short he left us £5000 in his will to have a day out at goodison.
For one reason or another we have never been able to get anything together, with the last couple of years being nigh on impossible to get tickets in any numbers, even hospitality was a no go.
We all decided to let things calm down with the new stadium and look to try and get up after xmas.
One of the lads then had an email off someone called elite seating(i think) saying that there were seats available for the Brentford and Leeds games.
These tickets are £150 a go but they said if there were more than 2 going we could all sit together.
Well after nothing happening for ages we decided to go for the Leeds game.
So my mate booked 14 tickets in 2 transactions because the the most you can book is 12 in one go.
Booked the bus straight away as well and there were 14 guys who couldn't wait for the game to come to see the new stadium..
Well as we all know them utter cunts at sky have spoilt it all.
Even if they had switched it to friday or sunday, we still could have gone, but there's no chance on monday.
My mate had an email off elite seating warning him about the change of date so he got in touch with them to tell them that monday was a no go for us and could we do another game.
He was told that in the terms and conditions that if the game was switched, tough luck if you can't now make the date they are well within their rights to keep the money.
He told them the story behind it and they said they would look into it.
I don't know if elite seating is anything to do with the club(almost sure to be a big fat no)
So fuck you elite seating
But most of all fuck you sky i fucking despise your utter contempt for the fans
Well after all that ranting and raving there's a happy ending.
After my mate got back in touch with elite they agreed to let us switch to another game, so even at short notice we have able to sort it out for us to go to the forest game a week tomorrow.
There's two out of the 14 that can't make it but we are hoping for 2 others to fill in.
Just beyond excited to be going to the new stadium and raise a glass to Clarkie

Can't believe after all that you've got to go watch Everton and Dycheball again

Yeah, in all fairness they didn't have to do it, really decent of them.
And we got lucky with forest being on a saturday afternoon, because after that game there's a real prospect of no more saturday 3 o'clock kick offs for the rest of the season.
There's only 4 possibly left towards the end of the season, man u, man city, the shite and chelsea and what's the chances of sky not getting involved in any of them.
