Agree to a point but they are actually good sides full of top players. We dont have a right backBlues Mahoney wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:22 pm We're such a joke club. A meme club. It never changes.
Striker hasn't scored all season? Everton next
Haven't won away all season? Everton next
Teams on a terrible run of form? Everton next
I'm sick of it.
We don't have a winning mentality as a club, haven't for a long long time. It breeds fear. We could be in the top 4 and I'd still be looking at the bottom 3 with trepidation. It's awful. I celebrated when City scored late against Leeds. Jeez what a load of shit.
Teams like the Shite, City, Arse etc. they expect to win. We hope to win. It's a huge difference.
Everton v Newcastle

Ultimately we're a midtable to lower midtable club of late. We're still playing players out of position to fill gaps in the squad.Blues Mahoney wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:22 pm We're such a joke club. A meme club. It never changes.

The teams you're listing there spending x20 our budget most seasons and have the best players with two players for most positions. She yeah, they expect to win.
It's partly mentality, but it's mostly about resources.

Your wasting your breath on the full backs Brap every fucker has been saying it for window after window, the losers that are in a position to do something about it arn't listening, they know better

Re: Everton v Newcastle
Its a miserable result but the reality is it doesn't make much difference. Theres probably 13 or 14 teams in this league who'll throw a few of these performances in every season. Its shit when it happens but its just something most teams do sometimes
Im more frustrated at the wasted window. To look at our squad and not sign pace or a right back is criminal. Its hard to be confident in their competence going forwards

The harm was we missed Gueye so badly.Big Nevs Vaz wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:23 pm Is it too late for anybody to slap Michael Keane? Can’t do any harm surely.

Can't legislate for that first minute corner, just bad luck. Or Pickford throwing one in. Piss poor. Apart from that it was all too predictable with the team we had out, they were walking through us for fun and no surprise Tim gifted them a goal too. Just a very Everton type performance, same as the Spurs game. When our squad gets exposed we have a soft underbelly. Ruined the summer window and didn't address any of it.

Re: Everton v Newcastle
Anyone else think their first goal was offside, they had two in “offside positions” as the corner was taken.
Not even a mention on sky commentary.

Re: Everton v Newcastle
Offside from the header perhaps? If we're saying they're interfering. I haven't seen that one again though.
The bigger question mark was the potential handball on the line by Barnes.

How could you be offside? All of the attackers are in line with or behind the ball when it's kicked.

I don't think it's a pen, his arm's not in an unnatural position or making his body bigger or whatever rule they're using this season.blueToffee wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:45 pm Offside from the header perhaps? If we're saying they're interfering. I haven't seen that one again though.
