I want to go, been looking at tickets for matches at Sofi stadium and Levis stadium. $1500 for the uppermost seats is bananas.
Are the extortionate priced tickets exclusively for the US stadia, or is this representative of the Mexican and Canadian stadia too? I hope there are lots of empty seats like the CWC if so.
Sick pricing, but typical of a country that views everything through the lens of profit.
I'm definitely the wrong person for this as I have less than zero interest in international football and haven't for years but I can't get my head around the amount they are expecting people to pay to watch two countries they have no affinity with.
Of course the host nations will have huge interest and the bigger countries will have plenty of ex pats but there are some very obscure qualifying teams that will be leaning heavily on neutrals to fill stadia. Unless the tickets are very cheaply priced, who's going to that?
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
Just with regards kick off times and them not wanting to have midday matches due to the heat... What did they do for the 94 world cup? I was 14 then and sure all the games were on at acceptable times?
Is this just typical modern world health and safety thinking, or is there something else going on that I'm not aware of?

How much they're expecting people to pay... now.
Pretty sure the Club World Cup prices were similarly eye gauging, but closer to the competition starting tickets were as low as $50 I believe I read.
Probably the same will happen for the world cup when they realise not enough people in America understand or like the sport enough to fill out the stadiums.

Think its a bit of the H&S, a bit of them trying to maximise attendance and a lot of there's a lot mire games to fit in.

pretty sure the price is being set by FIFA and not the good ol USA, friend.
