Chelsea v Everton
Chelsea v Everton
1 of just 4 matches on Saturday. 3pm. Opportunity to go 4th in the league if we win at Stamford Bridge for the first time since 1994.
Idrissa Gueye is available again but will leave for AFCON alongside Ndiaye after this.
Caicedo is suspended for Chelsea.
Garner is 1 booking away from suspension. Will need to go the next 4 games without picking up a booking to avoid the 5 yellow cards threshold.
Tom Bramall is the ref. Record with both clubs:
Everton record: P5 W2 D2 L1 https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/thomas- ... n/1/plus/0
Chelsea record: P5 W5 D0 L0 https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/thomas- ... n/1/plus/0

Re: Chelsea v Everton
Astoundingly bad run here, 31 years.
Still remember the 3-3 under Martinez. Farce.
Let's end the hoodoo.

Re: Chelsea v Everton
Gueye is already back? In my head I thought he was gone until AFCON was done.
It's hard to work Chelsea out, they can be fantastic on their day but also throw in the odd rubbish performance. I suppose, a little bit similar to ourselves although having spent a lot more money. Given our history there though, it's a tough ask this one.

Yeah. To have that and the Bournemouth 3-3 in the same season is cruel.
Not to forget conceding 3 in the last 10 minutes from 2-0 up at home to West Ham.
Roberto for you I guess.

Jimmy should have taken a yellow last weekend with Gueye back for this.Shogun wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 6:44 pm 1 of just 4 matches on Saturday. 3pm. Opportunity to go 4th in the league if we win at Stamford Bridge for the first time since 1994.

Got a good feeling for this, 2-2 or 2-1 to us.

Re: Chelsea v Everton
Yeah I’m pretty sure that was one of the matches Niasse came on and we realised just what Lukaku when he said he was “raw”.
And also of course that same season we had the Stoke result which by that point convinced me Martinez was absolutely not the manager to take Everton forward

Re: Chelsea v Everton
We definitely could get a result here. But it depends on which Chelsea show up. I still feel they are just a mish mash of players just thrown together and they rarely feel all that cohesive, but obviously the depth and quality they have often wins over despite that.
They are 4 games without a win after last night. DLDL (Arsenal, Leeds, Bournemouth, Atalanta)
