Re: January Transfer Window
I am asking for a surprise this year from Santa. i.e. a proper right back.

Re: January Transfer Window
Vitinho has played a few matches for the Brazilian national team this year so Carlo might be able to put in a good word or two to him about Everton.
He’s played for Burnley in the Premier League before but I honestly can’t remember if he was any good though.

They haven't had to watch JOB and Patterson play RB though, they might have been very impressed with him if they had777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 1:12 pm Played for burnley and they weren't especially impressed by him

If anything screams a Moyes signing it's 'has played previously in the Premier League and Championship '.CorkyOnTour wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 1:06 pm Brazilian international who has played over 60 times in the PL and Championship

Re: January Transfer Window
I think the committee’s done well so far with the players they’ve brought in.
It’s a bit frustrating that Dibling hasn’t played more but he strikes me as someone who’s going to learn from the bench for a season before we let him loose. Maybe not ideal when the deep midfield and fullback options are not great but you don’t control when mega talents like him are available. He could legitimately be several things, whether it’s a Grealish-like winger who protects the ball or a goal scoring number ten.
The committee certainly hasn’t done anything desperate. I expect whoever we target will be somewhere between rock solid for this level and legitimately good.

Are you confident dibbling is a sure thing?
On a completely different note how much would you be comfortable with us paying for grealish?

Re: January Transfer Window
I think we’ll get Grealish for a £10m “loan” fee at most.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:05 pm Are you confident dibbling is a sure thing?

Re: January Transfer Window
Whoever we bring in, right back, striker, midfielder… they must have pace, fed up of seeing players running like slugs over salt.

Re: January Transfer Window
Not many players that age are sure things and I wouldn’t say he is but he’s a monster talent. Incredible ball-carrying ability, good size and strength, has a better shot on him than he’s been able to show so far in his first-team career. He could become a bunch of different things and has a ton of great role models in the first team right now to help him make that next step into being a full-time contributor. Even if it ends up not working out, I am 100% behind the intent.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 8:05 pm Are you confident dibbling is a sure thing?

Anything less than £20m for Grealish. You know you’re buying his decline but he’s a wizard, a top pro, and is loving life right now. City don’t have much leverage if he’s dead set on coming back.
