Today's Football 2025-26

Cunha starting to show his class for United too, that's a great finish.
Not like Rogers obviously which was just stupidly good all round.

Rogers did it first , but it's been associated more with palmerAudrey Horne wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 5:51 pm Who did the ice man celebration first? Rodgers or Palmer?

@CannockPricey sweating
They've got Chelsea and Arsenal away in their next 2, so you'd imagine they'll lose ground on the top 2 in them.

They desperately need to drop points. I'd rather watch animal cruelty on a permanent loop than watch them lifting the Premier League trophy. Not exaggerating.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Don't mind villa but it does show the contrast between great ownership and inept. They finished rock bottom and we were about 6th or 7th. The next year they only went up via the play offs. Now they are European regulars and 1 of the best teams in the country and we've barely survived

They were on the absolute ropes for FFP as well but managed to sell Villa Park to themselves to avoid sanction and then cashed in top dollar on Grealish.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sun Dec 21, 2025 6:50 pm Don't mind villa but it does show the contrast between great ownership and inept. Dyche has done pretty well at Forest so far but nights like tonight and our match against them are reminders of why he's so tiresome.
16th Leeds 19pts - SUN A / LIV A / MNU H / NEW A
17th Forest 18pts - MCI H / EVE H / AST A / WHU A
18th West Ham 13pts - FUL H / BRI H / WOL A / FOR H
Feels like a pretty pivotal period for West Ham. All 4 of those are winnable matches whilst Leeds and Forest have toughies there. Although Forest have largely been good at home.

Wondering what the bar will be for relegation this year. West Ham have had a couple of tough games, but all those 4 games are potentially winnable for them. We've seen what Fulham were like away and Brighton aren't quite what they were either (and they should've beaten them away barring a slightly dodgy referee call).Shogun wrote: ↑Mon Dec 22, 2025 10:03 pm Dyche has done pretty well at Forest so far but nights like tonight and our match against them are reminders of why he's so tiresome.

Big IF but if they manage to win the next 2 games, could potentially be setting up for an actual 40 pts needed for safety season.
Their situation isn't helped by losing both fullbacks to AFCON mind you.
