Seemed far too slow for a natural modern era RB. Did few basic things right but he was a bit meh and had some really nervy moments at the start. I think we have very low expectations from him and that's why we were ok with that performance but overall he looked far from a prem level RB to me.

Is good technically and not slow and likes to attack.

I can hear the groans as I drag this out agin and dust it off to say it but - he’s hardly played any games! Get more into him and watch him grow. He’ll build his game fitness, which was miles off, and he’ll also face much tougher tests than Forest this season, but it’s what he needs to become the best version of himself, and I’m convinced that is worth working towards.

Should have been out on loan for a year under Dyche. Was never going to be used regularly and it only stunted his progression to be sat around getting niggly injuries for years.

Have zero expectations from him as a player for us now, not good enough so just move him on and replace.

He’s missed so much football, is injury prone, not a natural defender and crossing isn’t that good. Let’s get a proper RB.

He did a decent job last night and might be able to do a job for the rest of the season, which would be huge for us. We still need to invest in a right back though, January or Summer.

Still think he's crap tbh, but also so is JOB at RB so I'm not against him staying in for a while to see how it goes.

Also I hope he sorts his barnet out. Starting to look like Rigsby. Has the chop of a middle aged man who’s lost his job and access to his kids.

As a decidedly bald cunt I take it extremely badly when someone with a perfectly fine head of hair abuses the privilege.

He made 3 errors that on another night cost us a goal too. So although he did alright and actually looked like a fullback, he also showed all the reasons he hasnt been trusted, we just got lucky it lead to nothing.

It’s been exactly 4 years since Nathan Patterson was welcomed at Everton before the manager at the time was sacked a couple of weeks later.

I really hope he is able to get at least a good loan move before the end of the January window. He is absolutely wasted here.

Has to start if he's fit.

This lad makes me think "poor recruitment". Think he obviously has some of the tools and talent, looked a good player north of the border, but my impression is he just doesn't have the mentality for it. He's ok once he's had about half an hour to ease into a game. I know he's been out a fair bit, but we've seen it a number of times...strikes me as both physically and mentally fragile.

I think poor coaching rather than poor recruitment had 3 managers before Moyes who weren’t up to it should have been sent on loan in August but I would start him against wolves move Jake central

All the managers haven't rated him which I think tells you everything you need to know. He was a low cost gamble, but as we needed a starting RB it's back fired badly because he was never ready or probably had the potential to grow quickly in to that.
