Everyone wants a cool manager these days, one who comes with his own "philosophy".

Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
Liam Rosenior a six year deal , fuck me he will last till this time next year a best , if they completely tank and miss out on CL , he will get the boot before the end of this season....
Got to love the media on this , he's black and deserves the chance .....until he looses a game and nah he can't handle multi millionaire players etc... and is hounded out...

He's always come across well and on the outside looks to have done a decent job at Strasbourg whilst Chelsea have that young a squad that he might gel with them.
You never know, it might work out.

As long as he says yes sir, right away sir, I’ll play him exactly where you say sir, and doesn’t make any public statements criticizing the higher ups he might last til next summer
Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
Glasner is probably what Man UTD need right now but he'd not last beyond a couple of years... Lowest number of touches per chance created over the past couple of seasons by some distance shows how direct they are, and that's not the style their fans would put up with.
Undeniably an excellent manager but would need to adapt his style significantly to last there and whenever this type of manager tries that they generally tend to fail.
His ceiling is someone like us, not one of the top teams or one of the former top teams with aspirations of getting back there, even if he's actually imo a fantastic manager.

Re: Manager Merry-Go-Round
Ultimately, there are zero consequences for Chelsea and Utd repeatedly getting most things wrong, so it doesn't really matter who they appoint.
Eventually by the law of averages, they'll probably get one of these appointments right and in the meantime they'll continue to spend unfathomable amounts of money with no consequence.
