Glasner is probably what Man UTD need right now but he'd not last beyond a couple of years... Lowest number of touches per chance created over the past couple of seasons by some distance shows how direct they are, and that's not the style their fans would put up with.
Undeniably an excellent manager but would need to adapt his style significantly to last there and whenever this type of manager tries that they generally tend to fail.
His ceiling is someone like us, not one of the top teams or one of the former top teams with aspirations of getting back there, even if he's actually imo a fantastic manager.
Most long passes this season in Europe’s top 5 leagues:
Yeah long passes is one stat but the one I watched something on was specifically talking about passes from turnover to chance which is a bit of a niche stat tbf

Arguably their best manager since Alex tbf
His record wasn’t that bad…it’s just the decision making seems so weird at the top and not long term which is meant to the benefit of the sporting director model.
United just need to accept that they're no longer good enough to dominate games and become a pure counter attacking side like they were a few years ago. Stop trying to be fancy with their weird appointments like Amorim
They've got the makings of a good athletic side with Mbuemo, Cunha, Sesko, Diallo, Mainoo, Fernandes, Yoro, De Ligt, Dorgu, Dalot etc and a great age profile with Fernandes and Casemiro their only two "old" players.
