It's a good question and maybe I forgot Keane was suspended, or maybe I just think Moyes is that stubborn he'd play him there anyway

Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
They have just let malen join Roma and signed Abraham on loan I’m very apprehensive about this one they could give us a hammering
Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
We’re good away from home and these are massively over performing
We’ll be fine.
We’ll be fine.
Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
Irrelevant if they're over performing or not, they're playing really well and we're not
Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
It isn’t really as their results aren’t matching the performances so they’re not actually playing as good as everyone thinks they are.
Plus we are a lot better away from home.
Both relevant points.
Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
We are very limited. They will win. On to the next.
Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
They've won 11 straight at home haven't they?
Obviously won't last forever but in not sure I fancy Everton to be Those Guys

BBC says their last six games are W W W L W D. 4 wins in the last 6, only Arsenal and Brentford equal or better that in the league, not watched them loads so comment how "well" they're playing but from a results aspect they're in the top 3 of the league. If they aren't playing as good as everyone thinks and are third in the league...........

They’re obviously a good team but the performances don’t match the results and there’s been a bit of a drop off recently.bigmanbob wrote: ↑Fri Jan 16, 2026 12:50 pm BBC says their last six games are W W W L W D. 4 wins in the last 6, only Arsenal and Brentford equal or better that in the league, not watched them loads so comment how "well" they're playing but from a results aspect they're in the top 3 of the league. Still think they’ll win, but don’t think there’s a hammering happening here with how we play away and how Villa have been performing recently.
Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
I am never confident playing Villa.
All started when Ashley Young scored the winner about 10 seconds after we'd equalized 15 years ago or so.
Cannot remember a match against Villa going our way since then.

Whenever underperforming teams play Everton, they often win.
Let’s hope the reverse happens here.

Why is moyes being asked about a bid coming in for ndyaie when it hasn’t been reported anywhere.
We don’t need our own journos doing stuff like that.

Yeah she's normally not too bad , but made up rumours we could definitely do with out...
Re: Aston Villa v Everton (The CannockPricey Derby)
She usually asks people on social media for questions beforehand, so can only assume it's come from that. Pretty daft to actually ask it though.

The question is, shall I ask my mum to bring forward are usual Sunday roast time from half 4 to 4, so I can watch the match.
Or, just have my dinner without inconveniencing the family and not suffer the match.
