I think the risk for Palace is the loss of authority and players not having the same intensity knowing that the manager is jumping ship in a few months time.

He told the club in October he wouldn't renew his contract, so they've known for ages. As has everyone, worst kept secret in football, all they've done is confirm what everyone knew anyway.

They've arguably been pretty crap since then as well. Just think it's hard to get a small squad playing and fighting for a manager who they know won't be there next season and most importantly doesn't want to be there anymore.

I think he's right to leave like, they've not backed him despite being in Europe and it's taken its toll.

Think the loss of Eze has more to do with their results compared to last year than anything else.
