More fixture updates
More fixture updates
Sat 3pm home kick offs at home this season: Aston Villa, Fulham and Forest.
MNF kicks offs at home this season: West Ham, Leeds, Man United
Given Liverpool, City and Sunderland are left with the last being confirmed on a Sunday then it looks like 3/19 home matches this season will have been 3pm on a Saturday.
Re: More fixture updates
The Chelsea game is subject to further rearrangement too - if Chelsea come back and with their Carabao semi then they'll be playing the final that weekend instead of us.

Re: More fixture updates
Saturday games feel like a rare treat at the moment. Hope next season we see more on the traditional times

Re: More fixture updates
It sucks for the real fans but it’s more money in the transfer kitty.

Re: More fixture updates
Not a chance the derby stays as a Saturday 3pm is there? I'm going to be in the UK around then and looks like the only game I can get to (already know I'm going to be paying for the posh seats). Any idea when fixture changes have to be released by?

Re: More fixture updates
Yea was thinking it's more likely to be moved to earlier rather than later. If it's kept as a weekend fixture it's doable for me. It's the not knowing and therefore not being able to book that's frustrating!
Re: More fixture updates
They're supposed to release the fixture changes for April on 3rd March, and have generally been on time doing it this season. The gap between them releasing them and the games themselves gets even shorter as the end of the season nears so they've got a better chance of picking meaningful fixtures.
Re: More fixture updates
The CL QFs are the midweek before but don't think there's anything the midweek after, so you'd hope it's Sunday at worst
Re: More fixture updates
Shite isn't it, I was just looking at the fixtures to see about getting down for a game, the derby's possible depending on what time it gets changed to, Man City I can't currently make but will quite possibly get moved too so Sunderland looks like being our next and only home 3pm kick off between now and the end of the season. Nearly 4 months until our next 3pm game.

Have to feel for fans who find midweek games difficult whether through living longer distance from the city or work reasons etc. we have been on the thick end of the wedge this season for sureGash wrote:Shite isn't it, I was just looking at the fixtures to see about getting down for a game, the derby's possible depending on what time it gets changed to, Man City I can't currently make but will quite possibly get moved too so Sunderland looks like being our next and only home 3pm kick off between now and the end of the season. And that Sunderland game is a Sunday.Gash wrote: ↑Wed Jan 28, 2026 4:23 pm Shite isn't it, I was just looking at the fixtures to see about getting down for a game, the derby's possible depending on what time it gets changed to, Man City I can't currently make but will quite possibly get moved too so Sunderland looks like being our next and only home 3pm kick off between now and the end of the season. If Sunderland make the FA cup final then that game will go midweek but either way the Saturday is left free for the final so if they don't it's Sunday.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Hopefully they won't make the final. I've had my tickets and hotel for the Sunderland game booked since September.CannockPricey wrote: ↑Wed Jan 28, 2026 11:39 pm And that Sunderland game is a Sunday.
