Re: Everton v Bournemouth
Looking back should Pickford be coming for the first goal also was completely in no man’s land for the second we are so poor this season at defending crosses 4/5 six foot plus players and can’t win the first header

Said the same when I first saw the replay, he makes the decision to come and it's a really poor one as he's never going to get close to it, and so when it's headed back across he's just left them with an open goal.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Wed Feb 11, 2026 9:50 am Looking back should Pickford be coming for the first goal also was completely in no man’s land for the second we are so poor this season at defending crosses 4/5 six foot plus players and can’t win the first header
Re: Everton v Bournemouth
Not enough discussion about their offside goal imo... What's the actual rule here?
Was he interfering with play? Debatable.
Did he attempt to play the ball whilst in an offside position? No debate.
Genuinely don't know what the rule is here.

And I wouldn't snatch anyone's hand off for a draw.

Re: Everton v Bournemouth
I didn't think the Armstrong offside was offside, so by the same token I'd probably say it should've stood. However, the Armstrong one WAS given offside and really I don't think it's too dissimilar. If they were consistent therefore it should've been chalked off.
However, it feels like the mistake was really that Armstrong decision.
