Everton v Man United
Re: Everton v Man United
Probably get a man sent off on purpose to give them a little rest and snot them 1-0 again.

Been a couple posts saying they fancy us for a win.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Thu Feb 19, 2026 9:03 pm Not sure anyone is underestimating this one?
They are going to hammer us.
Agree think we'll lose this, but if I see JOB and Tarks, or Branthwaite and Tarks then I'll maybe at least have a glimmer of hope.
Add in Tim or Rohl for Gana and I'll at least have some excitement for the match.

Re: Everton v Man United
So because I fancy us to win, I’m underestimating United? Strange one. In that case, shouldn’t say I fancy Everton to win a game against anyone as I’ll be underestimating the opponentAjaxAndy wrote: Been a couple posts saying they fancy us for a win.

Re: Everton v Man United
Would you be happy with Moyes if he said that in the press conference? He took a lot of stick for the 'taking a knife to a gun fight'. There's a good chance they will beat us, but you should never go into a fight with that mentalityAudrey Horne wrote: ↑Thu Feb 19, 2026 9:03 pm Not sure anyone is underestimating this one?

Quite enjoyed Moyes press conference, no negativity, no excuses. Nice bit of encouragement for Dibling towards the end.

Re: Everton v Man United
Coleman's fit, he'll probably start, last about seven minutes then Garner will get moved to RB.
Re: Everton v Man United
Which is, if I remember rightly, exactly what happened in the reverse fixture at old Trafford? That didn't turn out too bad.
Just need to pick two team mates to have a scrap now and go down to 10 men.
Re: Everton v Man United
Didn't think it was that encouraging for Dibling, said he'd probably be looking at pre-season before he'll get more of a chance in the team.

Re: Everton v Man United
Not sure it was quite that bad. He did say he was sure he'd have some more minutes in the remainder of the season but he's a young guy and he's bedding in over time, it's a process, etc etc and looking down the road to next season having a full pre-season will help establish him more fully into the team.
