I think it's safe to say we won't see Patterson start again this season, [/i]Moyes wants a new RB and he's not going to risk Patto doing a half decent job and the transfer committee refusing to buy him a new one.

I think your best chance to see Patto start at home will be March 31st, the irony !

I was totally confused by this but I'm now thinking this must be when Scotland play at our place?

AjaxAndy wrote: Fri Feb 27, 2026 10:07 am Yeah the match day experience is very good there. They've got Stack literally outside the ground with food vendors, love music, pre game entertainment. You can park in multiple places for a fairly low fee that are a 15 - 20 mins walk to the ground, or if you know the area free places just outside the centre. Multiple metro stations within walking distance of the ground including one at the ground.

I park at the college and it's £5 I think, 15 mins walk to the ground... Sounds horrific getting to and from the Hill Dickinson in comparison.

Obviously though you're surrounded by Geordies so you have to take the sour with the sweet 😂
We used to park on Newgate St, there was a hotel and shopping centre there just up from the Pizza Hut on the corner, it was less than 10 minutes to the ground although I think that's all been knocked down and redeveloped now.

Sounds horrific getting to and from the Hill Dickinson in comparison....it is but just remember how long St.James park has been there in comparison...hopefully sooner or later HDS will have similar transport links....

For anyone going tomorrow just be mindfull the "stack" is right outside the ground so gets absolutely rammed....traffic leading up to and around the town centre is also rammed before and after....there are car parks around the quay area that are about 15/20 mins walk from the ground that may be easier to park in than those closer....give yourself plenty of time before kick of to get there...

Stack gets rammed but it's plenty big enough that there's always space, not in the middle but around the outer edges it's fine... But I'd only go there for a drink, if you want food it'd be a nightmare unless you were there hours before kick off.

Newcastle College is good for parking, 10 mins walk along St James' Boulevard but depends which part of town you're entering and exiting from... I'd pick wherever avoids trying to get through the city centre.

As probably with any city, getting there hours beforehand, having food somewhere in town and walking over is better than battling through the main areas in traffic nearer the time. I always find the city centre an absolute nightmare at busy times to drive through.

The tough part about us at the moment is that we’re a really bad watch.

Like I know we have a decent chance to sneak a win here but even if we do it will be a backs to the wall slog where I’m watching us defend way more than attack. It’s a shit job being an Evertonian as we also can’t really complain too much given the turn around in fortunes of the last year
