Sadly any time Keane does anything to extend his time at the club a small tear roll down my cheek

Got me that.

And sadly it's true. He does some really good stuff but we can only have one slow centre back at a maximum.

I’d prefer to have no slow cb’s on the pitch with a fully fit squad.

Over to you, David.

Gutted we’re losing George. Would have been ideal.

In the mail

Seems we think the buy value is too high, maybe we’ll go back in with a lower offer though

Buy price reported to be in excess of the £22 million that Fulham had offered, say £25 then, think we can get Grealish for less than that.

He hasn't had much look in either , the Chelsea tax here isn't that high in this instance, he was good for Chelsea, ,20-25m. Seems reasonable.

Think you could probably spend that money better elsewhere.

Would have been a decent youngster to have in Europe next season imo

That's it for me as well. Can't be too unhappy, because we've barely seen him.

If he hasn't managed to oust McNeil in the starting lineup, then it suggests we're not that convinced on him and probably think we can get better with the money elsewhere.

I don’t think many would disagree with that, but what exactly is keeping him out of the starting XI? If McNeil is even marginally better defensively — even by 1% — that’s enough for Moyes to pick him, even if George offers far more in attack.

Honestly, it feels like a bit of a power play from Moyes. He’s trying to assert control, and it’s pretty obvious he didn’t want Dibbling or George. He doesn’t look interested in putting time into developing young players when he can fall back on safe, Premier League-proven options.
