Moyes watching as well but Patto's not a big bumbling 6ft 6 centre back so he still won't get a game. I like Ivory Coast's stadium though.toffee_scot wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2026 8:28 pm Shame about the result, Scotland weren’t too bad but Ivory Coast defended well.
Patterson did well when coming on

I've been watching a steam of Italy v Bosnia extra time. Both teams creating, but nothing clear cut in ET.

Italy now miss the World Cup for the third time in a row.
What is going on with that?

Its criminal that Southgates England decided they'd desperately try to defend a 1 goal lead and then having lost that play for penalties against bloody Italy. Have they qualified for anything since?
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
My controversial opinion is bringing back golden goal.
Doesn't feel right that Bosnia&H and Czechia both go through on the back of two penalty shootout wins.

Certainly a cruel way to go out. Kind of like the idea of the 'reduce players by 1' scenario. But, injuries etc. Something to encourage attacking play in Extra time at least.
Bosnia & Herzegovina had the run of play with most of the ball, many more shots on goal and looked the most attacking, even before Italy's red. Think that result at least was justified. Denmark not so much.
