Re: Today's Football 2025-26
I don''t think Fulham have spent their money all that well.
You look at a combined £100m plus on Smith-Rowe, Kevin and Oscar Bobb and think they haven't really moved the needle.

I'm guessing they're saying the defender slipped and the contact was accidental, which shouldn't matter, but because this bunch of clowns can't make any rule that makes sense, it is therefore not a penalty?Stumpy wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2026 5:00 pm In what world can that not be a penalty.
Ffs what the hell are these idiots doing.
They are a total and utter embarrassment to the premier league, their profession and the game as a whole.
How have we got to this stage of incompetence.
Webb should be ashamed of himself for the standard we are watching of these clowns week in week out.
They are a disgrace
But you can accidentally handball it and it's a penalty.
And you can accidentally stand on someone's ankle and it's a penalty.
And the keeper can accidentally punch someone and it's a penalty.

Yeah it makes no sense. A foul is still a foul even if its a complete accident. Not sure why they think the defender should gain a massive advantage for slipping and taking someone outAjaxAndy wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2026 6:42 pm I'm guessing they're saying the defender slipped and the contact was accidental, which shouldn't matter, but because this bunch of clowns can't make any rule that makes sense, it is therefore not a penalty?

It feels like rather than just make a decision they are trying to tell a story to go with it so end up with excuses/reasons not to give the obvious. Our penalty last week and now west hams this are 2 outlandish decisions. Seems like they are rewriting the rule book in real time
The problem is they show the videos and youve literally no clue what they are going to give. Id of made them 2 penalties absolute certainties. You cant convince me otherwise. Then even now theyll go to the panel and 2 of the 5 will probably say they were right and 4 of the 5 will say it wasn't clear and obvious anyway. It feels mental

Can't be arsed with the Mo Salah 'long goodbye' on Sky for the rest of the season.

Carlisle v Boreham Wood in the National League play off semi final gone to extra time, 1-1 at the moment. Morgan Feeney briefly of these parts with Carlisle's goal.
Rochdale v Scunthorpe at 3pm in the other semi.

Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Rochdale 1 up already. Good start after what must have a huge head fuck after the York game.
Re: Today's Football 2025-26
Carlisle beaten. Terrible end to a terrible season for them, one of the favourites to go up but finished 13 points behind York. Rich owners but they've spent big over the last couple of seasons and they've players on lumpy salaries for that league.

Is the camera angle or camera at United different to normal? Something seems off.
