Im not overly keen on signing a young midfielder and sending Armstrong out on loan. Feels like thats pretty much just standing still in the short term. We have other priorities

Looks like Denzil Dumfries is off to Real Madrid for his buy out clause of £17.3m. What might have been - Benitez you cunt

Yeah, during the entire Moshiri era he was comfortably the worst appointment of the lot.

Talk about not reading the room.

Cant argue about the Benitez statement, but I dont think Dumfries ever had any intention of joining us

He told Voetbal International: “It took some time to close the deal, but when it happened, I had goosebumps.

“I was talking to [my agent Mino] Raiola every day, I strongly wanted to join Inter. I had an offer from Everton, but I didn't think twice about coming here.

“They have a great tradition in Italy and Europe and they are the champions of Italy. The city of Milan also had an impact on my choice.

“[In November] I played the first derby of Milan in my career and it was incredible. The stadium was full.

Fair, but also what I’d expect a footballer to say after joining a club

Can’t see what we would possibly want with Gabriel Jesus.

Avoid Jesus. Unless we change the whole makeup of the side we'll need a big strong striker. This rumour will be bollocks.

Yeah, of this goes through I'm ranking it up there as some of the worst business the clubs ever done.

Moyes only ever plays 1 upfront and for the profile we actually need I'd say he's the exact opposite of it.

Swerve.

Not saying he is linked but I'd take Harry Wilson on a free as a decent squad player.

Get McNeil out the door for some dosh and get Wilson in as his replacement, instant upgrade and some dough in the bank.

Yeah if it's a case of Jesus or Beto then we might as well stick with the current incumbent.

Better the devil you know and all that.

The only way I see it is if we want him to play as a wide forward in front of a defensive fullback.

He would get eaten alive playing as a lone CF for a Moyes team.
