Not for his bank account.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2026 9:58 am I also like potter. Chelsea was way way wrong for him.
Re: David Moyes
Moyes' comments really don't inspire much confidence or hopes for the new season. It's that defeatist, negative attitude that really pisses fans off. The vast majority of us know, understand and accept that we are not going to win the Premier League anytime soon. We can live with that. What we can't live with is Moyes' "knife to a gunfight" "we'll go with what we've got" negativity. We pay our money to be entertained. We can live with not winning every game. We just want to see the team go out and have a go. At least try to compete. If we're beaten by a better side on the day, so be it, but at least go down fighting. At least set up with a little conviction and belief.
Re: David Moyes
Where do people think this team would finish?
-------------------------------------Pickford
Wan Bissaka--------Tarks------------Branthwaite------Myko
---------------------------Garner------------Hackney
Bowen-----------------------------KDH-------------------------Grealish
---------------------------------------Delap
Given Grealish and Branthwaite can't probably be relied upon add JOB as backup CB and George signed permanently to replace Grealish when out.
Honestly I have no idea... Seems more balanced but potentially weak in midfield and Delap and unknown after last season's struggles.
Would that make top 7? Top 10? Bottom half?

Not enough square pegs in round holes to be a Moyes team.AjaxAndy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2026 1:10 pm Where do people think this team would finish?

7 of the 11 have been relegated from the Premier League, bottom half at best. Hackney best be good to cover all the gaps Gueye doesAjaxAndy wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2026 1:10 pm Where do people think this team would finish?

Re: David Moyes
Same tbf, but I haven't seen us linked with any LBs so just putting together a team based on the rumours we have and Ndaiye potentially leaving.Audrey Horne wrote: ↑Mon Jun 22, 2026 1:47 pm Grealish cant function with Mykolenko behind him. I cba another season of that
I'd hope that if we do sell Ndaiye some of it would be used for a new LB.
I guess given we only have one player for that position we will buy or loan someone either way, but who the fuck knows eh?
Re: David Moyes
It's not my picks, it's an approximation of the team Moyes would likely pick if we signed certain players we've been linked with and sold Ndaiye.
Re: David Moyes
Grealish should be telling the club he isn’t signing if he has to play with Mykolenko.
He’s only got a few years left in his career, he is still levels above what we have, why waste them watching that lad try and support him every week.
