Jack Grealish
Re: Pre-season
Do we need less of a sugar hit this season? Is that what the club are thinking? Think Moyes wants him.
I've no strong opinion either way, would prefer he comes back I think for short term gains, another leader/motivator type who's done it before, eyeballs and the spotlight are important as well (especially for youth prospects).

Re: Jack Grealish
City have Doku. They won't keep Grealish at the club on those wages to be second or third choice.

Re: Jack Grealish
He’s training with Calvin-Philips for a reason. Neither of them will be playing for City next season.

That's our Gana replacement sorted too then....Toddacelli wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2026 12:02 pm He’s training with Calvin-Philips for a reason. Neither of them will be playing for City next season.

Re: Jack Grealish
Yeah, no worries about that.
Only slight concern is if Maresca actually wants to keep him and convinces him he has a role there. Him training in Man City's "on the out" squad though makes that seem more unlikely.

Wouldn't mind it.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Sat Jul 11, 2026 5:52 pm If we see him provide an assist to Haaland in a pre-season game, then I’ll worry.
It'd be our striker problem solved too.
Okay, okay....
