Do we even need one considering the chuckle brothers spend the majority of the match in their own 6yrd box?

Re: James Garner
He didn’t fancy trying to get in front of this one did he?
Watching someone 5 yards away run onto a dropping ball to volley it in the 98th minute. Hm.

Re: James Garner
Pickers deliberately asked him to get out of the way so he could pull off the save.
Re: James Garner
What still amazes me is that Tarkowski attempts to head it but his reactions are too slow to get near it, while Pickford is quick enough to move and save it. I still can't work out how he's done that.

Annoyed me at the time and still does!StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2026 10:06 am At this point I’m convinced that you’re now an AI bot farming for engagement
What do you think, is he a bit rooted to the spot here or no?
Look at Gana for comparison if you like.
Re: James Garner
We must have priced city out of the race for jimmy g as it sounds like they’re going for Elliot Anderson instead.
Re: James Garner
I’d happily accept a gigantic fee as long as we have someone lined up to replace him at the base of the midfield.
He’s the only player left who gives our midfield structure. I like what Hackney purportedly brings but he does not seem to play with any positional discipline.

Re: James Garner
Given the fees of Anderson and Rodgers this is probably the perfect time to sell him. Right now we could probably get 1/3, maybe even 1/2 more than we'd ordinarily be able to command.
What's his real worth? £40m?
What's his current inflated worth? £70m - £80m?
I like Garner, he's a solid 7/10 player, but if we could capitalise on the inflated English midfielder market then we could make some serious money here to invest back in to the team, and come out far stronger.

We need to (have) kept Gana if we do this. Can't count on replacing him. Still trying to replace Coleman.

Re: James Garner
Guimaraes possibly going to Arsenal for 70 million…..don't think we’re getting that for Jimmy the Gardener. Anderson and Rodgers’ fees are bonkers so maybe there’s an outside chance of an inflated price but 70 is a stretch.
