In fairness I don't think any WC participants are back at their clubs yet.

Don't think we'll see him in a blue shirt again.

Yeah 70m is fine.
He's only half the player Anderson is anyway.

Sell, move on.

His goals and assists are more than replaceable.

Also very sick of hearing we won't be able to replace him. If we can't replace our best, or any, players we may as well call it it a day and liquidate the football club.

Cool, let's get it done quickly and move on some key targets that will kick us on as a team.

We all know Everton will drag this on and pretend not to want to sell to force him into a transfer request so they can:
A) blame the player
B) save on what would be owed over the course of his remaining contract

We've seen this before.

What's wrong with that? He's his own business. He might also want to live in a Muslim country.

He's already moved club 6 times in his career prior to this. We're not particularly special in his journey.

It's not a bad reflection on him. We'll do incredibly well out of it.

That's good. If he goes there we maximise his value, or in reality actually earn far more than he's really worth.

I don't really understand why people care what happens to his career, it's not important to us, yet people seem to prefer he went to someone like Man UTD for £30m less so he can achieve more.

We bought for a low fee, will sell for an over inflated one, achieve a huge profit and can reinvest in multiple areas of the team. That's all that matters and a model we need to follow if we want to ever progress as a club.

If someone offered me 4x the money on a net of tax basis, I would be off as well.

It’s nothing personal, it’s just business. And the Saudi league is getting better by the year.

Let’s get as much money though as we can. You don’t get these opportunities very often to maximise value for a top player.
