I think you’re right. Stability and consolidation only get you so far though.

We’re going to have to learn how to find untapped value outside the UK at some point if we ever want to do anything better than mid-table.

Nice little behind the scenes look. Dont get me wrong, id be more than happy to do it for £110k a week, but all the media stuff looks like a right ballache

We did do that under Moyes the first time, although probably not as much as the teams that seem to really excel on that front. Arteta, Pienaar, Yobo, Mirallas, Fellaini. Plenty of duds as well though I guess, and some mad bastards too, we haven't had a drenthe or a Andy van der Meyde in a while.
