In my opinion you should both feel insulted!Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2026 11:54 am We're becoming worryingly similar and agreeable, Gash. Not sure who that reflects worse on!
Re: David Moyes
I thought Kinnear said we were in a decent place?
Asked directly about the state of the market, Moyes didn’t dress it up. “A little down on numbers,” he said, before adding: “We’re limited on funds.”

Re: David Moyes
If we are light on funds why have we not moved on Tim Patto or Beto other clubs have no problem moving on players who the coach doesn’t want
Re: David Moyes
Thought it was a really cheap shot in the Palace press conference, saying no-one outlined to him from above of the ambition to qualify for Europe last season.
Petty and unnecessary.
It might not have been expected but it should have been an aim, as it should be for most of the league every year now, with 9 places up for grabs.

Re: David Moyes
If he's saying he is hoping and expecting several more signings we can't be that skint
Re: David Moyes
The aim should always be to win the league, otherwise you might as well give up. We might not be favourites, but stranger things have happened.Bumble wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2026 2:25 pm Thought it was a really cheap shot in the Palace press conference, saying no-one outlined to him from above of the ambition to qualify for Europe last season.

Nobody wants to buy our expensive shite by the looks of things.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Fri Aug 21, 2026 2:20 pm If we are light on funds why have we not moved on Tim Patto or Beto other clubs have no problem moving on players who the coach doesn’t want
Re: David Moyes
The limited funds thing might just be simply down to not wanting clubs to know we can actually afford to pay a reasonable amount.
Just impossible to read anything in to these things... We've bid for Doue multiple times, we've bid for other players, we might just use our existing players there... How much of these statements are actually meant for the fans?
I'd imagine very few.
