To be fair we kept attacking and had a few chances for a third, this is the natural pattern now and is more to do with Palace stepping up than us stepping backkramer wrote: Moyes has never been one to try to twist the knife, unfortunately.

Rode our luck a bit in the first half, but this has been a composed and much better display in the second.

Just about Momentum and with the ball vs without, Johnson is obviously faster in a straight lineTrevorSteven wrote:Palace defender faster than our fast Johnson

Disappointing seeing so many empty seats while winning on Saturday afternoon in the sunshine.

Re: Everton v Crystal Palace
Rohl's been a lot more defensively secure 2nd half. Won some good far post headers, and his general positioning has been a bit deeper. Cleary a bit of an adjustment from Moyes at HT.
I think he can learn to play that role to a good standard, if given time.

Beto with one the worst layoffs you’ll ever see to allow the cross for that header.

Has there been a booking yet?
This has been a good, clean contest. Just unlucky for the lad who fucked his knee.

Not perfect by any means but plenty to like as well. Maybe it’s not all doom and gloom after all
