Feels like this is one of the few sensible transfers this summer

Re: General Transfer Thread
City's treatment of Gonzalez under 2 different managers gives me a strong whiff of something dodgy going on with him, he's looked genuinely good when they've been forced to play him, they have basically no midfield and they're still trying to bomb him out the door.
I reckon there's either personality/professionalism issues, an injury risk that they're worried about or a scandal waiting to see the light of day - the treatment of him just doesn't make sense otherwise and they tend to be quite sensible operators.

Re: General Transfer Thread
Just reading about Boreham Wood rejecting a £1.5m bid from a Swedish team for one of their players.
They’re a National League side.
Money in the game is crazy.

Re: General Transfer Thread
The money West Ham are getting for players despite being in the Championship is crazy, there's definitely no such thing as picking up a bargain off a relegated team anymoreweimaranerblues wrote: ↑Wed Aug 26, 2026 10:26 am El Hadji Malick Diouf west ham to Brentford £35/40m
Re: General Transfer Thread
He's a knob and he's approaching the twilight of his career but what an upgrade on Sanchez
Edit: thought he was olders than that

Mad that even for all their spending, anyone with a hole in their arse could see Sanchez is a car crash but it's taken about 3 years for them to replace him.
