Yeah it’s poor as decent part of what you want from this sort of deal is reliability.

Not sure sure tbh, can't imagine he's even remotely comfortable or competent trying to head direct balls from deep whilst competing with big tall strong defenders.

George might be more likely as he's taller, stronger and has played there previously in his career.
Johnson is perfect as a second striker arriving late at the back post.

I think he will get a decent share of goals this year even as a sub.

100% wouldn’t play Johnson up there on his own.

Same - sounds like a long term injury. How did he get through the medical?

It's currently a waste of money, but there is a bit of a blessing in disguise too as I think one of the noticeable things with us in these last handful of games is how youthful we seem. Armstrong, Hackney, Rohl, George, etc make for an energetic team and for me it feels a lot fresher. It's a bit less defensively sound, but I think the pressing is noticeably done with more intensity and why we've seen a few errors from teams leading to goals.

The injury was known and the medical staff said it was an acceptable risk given the cover we have in the position and the price of the deal. He was always going to take a few weeks to get up to speed.

Feels a bit like we’re shopping in the broken biscuits section. How much for damaged?
