End of Moshiri - Friedkin, APPROVAL AGREED
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Starting to worry that I can't see a way out now.
We seem absolutely committed to the 777 course, but there's no way they can meet those conditions, so how long does this rumble on for?
The level of debt at the club at the moment is debilitating, and is growing every month. We almost certainly will fail next year's PSR as well at this rate.
If we don't get a resolution soon I think we are probably looking at worst case scenario territory sometime very very soon.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I’m assuming there’s others in the background waiting to step in.
If 777 take us over then at least they’ve showed they have the funds and my hope is a quick sale once we’re in the ground and it’s paid off. Plus £300m worth of debt will be cleared
If they don’t show they have funds, then the funding will cease and we’re in a bit of limbo unless another deal is quickly lined up.
Mad how our supposed billionaire owner doesn’t even have the funds to keep the lights on.
Why can’t he even find credible investors?

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I dont understand why people just instantly believe all these "press reports" regarding anything everton.
Who is this jossimar who can get hold of private and confidential mail/information when no one else can ?
Whatever is going to happen will happen wittling about it and reading everything made up about it when it's just tomorrows chip paper is a waste of energy..

They've been asked to show this funding since the very beginning is the issue, we're no closer. The prem saying - we're minded to approve as long as they can show us this stuff...TheRam wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 10:20 am I’m assuming there’s others in the background waiting to step in.

That's what they should have been showing over the last six months! They can't show it, they haven't got it, we know it, prem knows it, 777 knows it, Moshiri knows it, yet we're still sat here.
That's the other option, that moshiri turns benevolent and puts another £500m in to write off or consolidate debts, free from FFP/PSR owners can do that, like he did at the start of his tenure.
Doesn't feel like that is happening either.

On for 7th next year I reckon then push on from there. Wonder if we can buy Osimhen, he might fancy the prem?

It’s called good journalism.4evablu wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 11:02 am I dont understand why people just instantly believe all these "press reports" regarding anything everton.

Phillipe auclair is a very good journalist who has spent a lot of his career rallying against all the dodgy ongoings in football.
He’s putting this stuff out there because he cares about the game and keeping bad people out of it.
All the information is out there regarding these jokers.
It’s worth worrying about because the future of the club is at stake.

Sometimes, it helps to be so confused that it overwhelms one's capacity to worry.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
So if this goes to tits, as expected, and we don’t have another buyer get any further forward, will this affect our ability to meet PSR?brap2 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 9:51 am Starting to worry that I can't see a way out now.

And
Is that likely to be taken into consideration?
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
I can't see it impacting PSR unless we'd fall foul purely on loan repayments that a new owner would have paid off.Toddacelli wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 12:41 pm So if this goes to tits, as expected, and we don’t have another buyer get any further forward, will this affect our ability to meet PSR?

And they wouldn't all be coming out in one go anyway, and we'd breach regardless if it's this season as we'll have already paid out for them.
I personally don't see how a new owner or not impacts PSR as that's purely on what we spend Vs what we bring in, and we've already spent what we've spent regardless.
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
So no one actually knows whats in the letter though ? and good journalism isn't just assuming something based on newspaper reports elsewhere..TheRam wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2024 11:15 am It’s called good journalism.

and what exactly can worrying do about it ?
HONESTLY I DO GET IT...been a blue for 60 years...but worrying about something that i cannot influence or may not even happen is.....well y'know

We have commitments to contracts worth hundreds of thousands of pounds a week. They will impact PSR for years to come.AjaxAndy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 12:57 pm I can't see it impacting PSR unless we'd fall foul purely on loan repayments that a new owner would have paid off.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
The PSR losses are only £5m a season if the owner isn’t putting funds in, so instead of £105m over 3 year period we’d be looking at £75m losses for the next season (35+35+5) and then £45m season after thatAjaxAndy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 26, 2024 12:57 pm I can't see it impacting PSR unless we'd fall foul purely on loan repayments that a new owner would have paid off.

So we’d be royally fucked
Maybe we’re already at 75m for the period as Moshiri hasn’t been converting any equity lately, so 45m next season
