Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Or even just negotiated a settlement with the administrators (which amounts to the same thing) might get us a good deal given that it's unsecured and behind a load of debt that has been secured on everything we ownBluebridge wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 5:36 pm I imagine so, if the new owners bought the debt first then bought us?
It's all incredibly odd that they continue to pump money in. Looks very unlikely they are going to get the deal done anyway.. already its apparently 200m. How much did they bloody offer for the club

Was said somewhere previously that they’re contractually obliged to keep putting money in as per the exclusivity agreement777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 5:47 pm Or even just negotiated a settlement with the administrators (which amounts to the same thing) might get us a good deal given that it's unsecured and behind a load of debt that has been secured on everything we own

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
So even after it becomes apparent that they won't be able to buy us they still have to keep giving us money.
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
So are they buying on the drip and if they miss a payment they lose all there money ?
Re: 777 Partners Takeover
Could they sell all their assets, the other clubs and airlines etc, in order to buy us outright, the jewel in the crown?MayorFarnham wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 8:01 pm So even after it becomes apparent that they won't be able to buy us they still have to keep giving us money.

Re: 777 Partners Takeover
No, they would have bought the debt for cheaper but we would still owe the same amount.
So if we owed 10% per annum, instead of the new owners of the debt earning 10%, they would be able to earn a much higher yield by simply by buying the debt at a lower price. If they buy the debt at £100m, 10% per annum would still be payable AND the original sum e.g £200m would be repayable,

Don't know who this is, so take it with a large pinch of salt.
Looking through the replies, some a posting that this is a fake account - don't know why people do this.

Surely the administrator would come to us first with a settlement offer
