Not sure what you mean by doesn’t want Branthwaite, why would he call him up if he didn’t want him ?777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Mon Jun 03, 2024 7:13 pm He's a fucking disgrace is Southgate. As are the FA for appointing him. Absolutely inept manager. I'd have more respect for him if he had the courage of his convictions and just didn't call up the likes of Branthwaite who he really doesn't want.

Re: England National Team
Get Branthwaite on, you fucking lemon.
Guehi was injured for months from early February and only made it back for Palace's last 3 games of the season, and Lewis Dunk's practically a pensioner.

It’s amazing how much difference it makes having players who know how to play their position.Bluedylan1 wrote:People go on about us having no left backs. Mitchell at Palace is really good, and he hasn't even took him. So instead we've got an aging right back at left back cutting back on himself to ruin any forward momentum and then a centre half at right back.
Konsa is killing attacks at RB because he’s got CB level passing, Trippier is out of form and keeps cutting in and Trent has no clue what is going on around him in CM as he’s used to having the game in front of him not surrounding him.
You could take a bottom half standard Lb/CM like Alfie Doughty and Kieran Dewsbury-Hall and this team would suddenly look a lot better.

These matches mean nothing.
They’re just a chance for players to get minutes and the manager to try things out.

Still concerning that he thinks some of these things are worth trying.TheRam wrote:These matches mean nothing.

Also Trippier is likely our starting LB for the tournament, that’s a concern

Re: England National Team
I think he wants all the safe old choices but bows to media pressure too. Hes an awful boring out of date (who's always been poor) manager who doesn't even have the courage of his convictions. Henderson isn't in the squad because he bowed to pressure. Mainoo got in because he bowed to pressure. He's the vilest or shite. Gonna ruin a club side if England ever move on from this shit

Re: England National Team
Konsa on the left and now just put Gomez on for Dunk, utterly baffling

Re: England National Team
He's head and shoulders above TAA but because he's not shit in two positions he won't go
