Kyle Walker is used to finding ways onto a roof/balcony for a quick exit.

It’s not gonna happen but I’d honestly be looking at playing Adam Wharton there.

We’ve got some incredible talents in the squad, just have a nice quiet water carrier in there who shuttles the ball on to the better players and holds his position - we don’t need a high risk/reward CM unless we’re in a desperate situation.

TAA is best used as a sub for Walker if we’re chasing a game

Guehi's done really well so far. Read situations well.

Serbia are not a fun team to play against. They're all rock solid, and they can play a bit. Think they'll give other teams lots of problems.

So enjoyable to watch.

Just have to hope we can make it all click.
The fact that we’re hoping that we’re having to hope rather than expect given that we have this group of players is such a disappointment.

A good manager and we’d be smashing this tournament

Would like to see a player besides Declan who has a clue what to do in the centre of midfield. I don’t rate Connor at all but at least he knows the position.

It’s just too much responsibility in the middle for a halfwit YouTube knuckleballer.

I know we all hate him but there's the quality you get from him going forward. Perfect 70 yard diagonal to feet, great shot from outside the area and a perfect cutback to feet in the box all within about 60 seconds of each other.

Risky from Trippier but not enough for a pen.

He's also hit a few balls to nowhere and been caught on the ball a few times.

I know we have slightly differing views on him but I just think he's cancelling himself out here

Nah, it’s still a very difficult competition to win.

We shouldn’t be expecting to smash anything.
