Ben Godfrey
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Plenty of rubbish players get linked to clubs better than where they're at. Roberto Martinez and Ronald Koeman have gone onto bigger and better things as managers but they're still shite.
It's no surprise why clubs are into him. He's big, he's strong and has great athleticism. They'll put a lot of stock into how great those attributes are compared to others. I think a bigger reflection of him is continuously sitting on the bench for a side as crap as we are (except when he was in the side out of position and we couldn't win a game)
Anyway, I'm not putting this much energy into Ben Godfrey who will be in the championship within 3 years.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I don't think it's true. It's like claiming our new signings must be rubbish because we are shit at transfers. We've seen him play.
Re: Ben Godfrey
I don’t think it’ll ever click for him at Everton.
He’s not a natural full back, he’s not getting regular games at centre back unless there’s an injury or a big sale (even then, I think Dyche would prefer someone sturdier in the air).
Mutually beneficial for Atalanta or Lyon to get a once promising prospect who might be better suited to their way of playing and for us to get some money.
