Toney's penalty technique was amazing, in fairness to him. Must've taken so much practice to be able to do that on demand.

It’s incredible, I just don’t get why he does it. As you say it’s such a specific skill it must have taken loads of practice, when he could have instead practiced putting them too bins and that technique would also help with his general shooting

I think if you have it down to a fine art, and you know you can put it in either corner without looking at the ball, then the idea is to watch the keeper and whichever way he leans or slightly favours, you go the other way.

It makes sense to me. It's very precise and highly skilled. To do it under that pressure though is impressive.
