Euro 2024 Discussion
Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Spain really deserve to be in the final, they've been by far the best team throughout... Really don't fancy England's chances if we get through, will be a very one sided match.
Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Yeah, the only team to show any sort of consistency from the off.
They also have a cheat code in Rodri

I only saw the first half but my god. He wins everything, he never loses the ball, he always finds the right option.
He’s the best player in that role since pirlo. Just takes the piss.

Incredible to see a player like that at 16.
Always thought you’d never see someone like rooney again but this lad has proved that wrong.

ITV have an hour and a half build up to tonight's game - why do they need so much time? They will no doubt be going round and round in circles and by the time the game starts most people will be bored and then will have to listen to Matterface and Dixon.

Need to spend 30mins talking how great Van Dijk is and that Gakpo is a world class talent

They will be in a quandary tonight - do they bring up how Jordan Pickford killed VVD at Goodison Park or not?Cereal Killer wrote: ↑Wed Jul 10, 2024 10:42 am Need to spend 30mins talking how great Van Dijk is and that Gakpo is a world class talent
Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
I'd love to see us play some sort of cohesive attacking football tonight just to give me some hope that if we won we'd have even half a chance against Spain... But we all know it'll be a dull defensive grind with no flair and hope a wonder strike wins it.
Then we'll do the same against Spain, lose 3-0 and Southgate will leave with a fantastic record and walk in to a good job somewhere else.
We'll all sit there scratching out heads about whether he did actually do a good job or if we've just wasted another great opportunity to end the horribly long wait for another major trophy.
