That would be quite restrained for them.

I feel like they will try hard to not be too quick mentioning it.

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Weirdly, now that we’re playing better teams the defensive football is more justified.AjaxAndy wrote:I'd love to see us play some sort of cohesive attacking football tonight just to give me some hope that if we won we'd have even half a chance against Spain... But we all know it'll be a dull defensive grind with no flair and hope a wonder strike wins it.
Then we'll do the same against Spain, lose 3-0 and Southgate will leave with a fantastic record and walk in to a good job somewhere else.
We'll all sit there scratching out heads about whether he did actually do a good job or if we've just wasted another great opportunity to end the horribly long wait for another major trophy.
It’s shit to watch but defensive football wins tournament football more often than attacking/entertaining does.
For Southgate I really don’t see him stepping into a big job, I don’t see a PL team taking a the risk on him

Would be nice if somebody mentioned that Pickford has been our player of the season three seasons in a row when they talk about him. Still feels like people only think he's good for England.

Not mobile enough according to Gary Neville - does he actually watch the Premier League games he commentates on?
Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Fancy a really good match here actually, it'll be cracking battle for the runners-up trophy.
