I can't belive the hate I have inside me towards Moshiri.
The club is ruined.
No excitement for new players. Or the new ground. Nothing.
It's horrid![]()
my heart goes out for all of you die hard Evertonians
can anyone see light at the end of the tunnel
dare i say the the word `Administration`

I think the doom and gloom is a bit much. A takeover will happen, we'll have a magnificent new stadium and times will be better

So that’s £200m loans we owe to each of Friedkin, 777, and Fortress? At what point does £600m become a very real worry, especially when potential investors seem to want out as soon as they get involved? Apart from these debts what else are they discovering?
Be cool or be cast out.

In theory the £600m loans isn’t worrying or surprising - the stadium is worth more than that and the majority of those loans will be able to be renegotiated to long term loans backed by the stadium.April wrote:So that’s £200m loans we owe to each of Friedkin, 777, and Fortress? It’s like when you buy your first house, it’s terrifying that you suddenly owe somebody hundreds of thousands when probably your biggest debt before then was a couple of k on a credit card - but it’s all backed by the asset and in the long term makes sense
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
That’s fine, but my concern is how these loans seem to have occurred all quite recently in quick succession, as if we can’t afford to keep going. Having a stadium as capital makes absolute sense, but your mortgage analogy holds up only until further loans are taken out. A mortgage is one loan, we’re already finding out about multiple ones.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Fri Jul 26, 2024 1:23 pm In theory the £600m loans isn’t worrying or surprising - the stadium is worth more than that and the majority of those loans will be able to be renegotiated to long term loans backed by the stadium.

Thats because the loans are for the stadium building.April wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 12:06 pm That’s fine, but my concern is how these loans seem to have occurred all quite recently in quick succession, as if we can’t afford to keep going. Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
We lose money every year, so we will always go further into debt until that stops. But the vast majority of our loans are directly or indirectly[Because we've spent other income on the stadium already] to pay for the stadium development. You build a £600-800m stadium, you're going to end up £600-800m more in debt than when you started. And we started already with massive loans.

Decided not to look behind the curtains for a bit, the club is just holding the tide back for now.April wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 12:06 pm That’s fine, but my concern is how these loans seem to have occurred all quite recently in quick succession, as if we can’t afford to keep going. Man United have debts of over £1.09 Billion including £367 million for outstanding transfer fees, wonder if this might be why they can’t afford Branthwaite ?April wrote: ↑Mon Jul 29, 2024 12:06 pm That’s fine, but my concern is how these loans seem to have occurred all quite recently in quick succession, as if we can’t afford to keep going. Still think there’s a twist in this with Friedkin’s group
