He followed it with something like 'forgetting his situation, just his overall fitness'.

I think if he gets fit he'll get a deal.

Ah right ! I was just going off the written report where that bit wasn’t quoted, the fact that he has not been sent back to Spurs suggests there is definately something being considered.

Feels like signing him would be incrediblg stupid. He hasn't been fit for so long and he's still not fit. At what point would we be confident he could stay fit?? Be well after we actually gave him a contract

But we don’t need to give him a contract until he’s fit 🤷‍♂️ we could sign him in October if he hadn’t bothered going anywhere else
