Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Hopefully we can shift Keane and Holgate but haven't got a clue who in world football would want them.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Holgate is nearly unsellable now Keane might get a move to a promoted team but can see dyche keeping him as cover
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Just release Holgate if nobody comes in.
Keane can be 4th choice centre half if nobody comes in. Grim for him like but he shouldn’t have been so shite that nobody wants him. Hes better than that but can’t seem to cope with any sort of pressure.

One of the odd things about us is that tarks is our ball playing CB while branthwaite is our attack dog, despite how it might feel!

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Why would we release Holgate. He'd be entitled to the full contract upfront and then he could go elsewhere and earn a wage on top
Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Removes the temptation, however misguided, to play him at some point.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2024 11:34 am Why would we release Holgate. He'd be entitled to the full contract upfront and then he could go elsewhere and earn a wage on top

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
If nobody will pay to take him I’d rather pay him to not be here.

An option a lot of clubs end up taking up down the line.Bob Sacamano wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2024 11:41 am If nobody will pay to take him I’d rather pay him to not be here.
Pointless him being here.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
McTomminey isn’t a bad player. He wouldn’t be at UTD for that long if he was.
He shines for Scotland and they has some real shite around him in that team.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Especially as he'll play at least 15 games this season as a makeshift right or left back

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
Someone's said to me the club are happy with the fullback options.
We've got one first team full back haven't we and he's in a bit of an injury mode ATM?
Thought we'd deffo get a winger/fwd after the pursuits but doesn't feel like there's a plan B for Gnonto, hope something comes out of the blue!
No cm replacement as Doucs will drop backwards I guess?

Re: Summer Transfer Window Discussion
I’d be happy with that - can’t get everyone in one window, and who we have bought seems to make sense so far
Only caveat is if anyone leaves they’ll need replacing on top of the above
