Really?

Outside of fullbacks we have a bunch of cover across the board now

Still think it's suicide going in to the season with our CM options.

We deffo need one more. Surely a loan for someone, there has to be someone other than Kalvin Phillips.

Really our midfield options are based on psr Tim being a success and Armstrong doing well an injury to myko or gana and we are fucked

I reckon Kev and Dyche looked at our defence, thought 4th best in the league last season? We'll be alright again this year. And have prioritised other areas.

I think we'll see a midfielder come in still, probably on loan, during the final days of the window. I doubt we'll see anything happen at full back.

I'm sure a lot of domestic loan business will done once clubs have a better view on their 25, which is likely to be in the last few days of the window.

And it's not like Dyche sees full backs as creators or goal scorers, so I'm sure he'll be happy to go with what we've got.

Gana, Garner, Doucs and Iroegbunam for the 2 deeper midfield places.
That’s grim

6/10

Not excited by it but not doom and gloom about it either, still a couple of holes we need to fill, not sure if we have the money to sort them out.

While lots of deadwood and a need for money with Onana have been sold. Would have liked Keane, Holgate, Maupay and IF he’s not going to sign an extension then Calvert-Lewin moved on. But there doesn’t seem to be strong suiters for them, so they go towards the end of the window giving us not much time maybe even finance to replace.

Understand the point made about the defence, based on last season, not being priority with what little we did have to spend.

Like the younger profile of the players brought in and not hugely expensive.

Still the biggest worry for me is goals.

That’s fair 6/10 is about right but can’t get past the lack of depth in some areas we don’t have Godfrey this season to cover a blessing in one way but could mean holgate playing right or left back due to injuries better at centre half better at the wing and in attacking areas but short in midfield too can’t be playing duke as a holding player he can’t pass or tackle hope we can get a couple more in before the window closes

Jesus.... The stench of negativity is chronic on here. Firstly, it's a game and secondly we're Everton and will be fine

Szmodics on his way to Ipswich for £10m, Broja also in talks with them. Szmodics would've been worth a punt at that price

…and this is why fans aren’t in charge.

We have four strikers on the books, absolutely 0 chance we should be spending 10m on a 28 year old striker
