Looked really good in the 1st half but faded badly I thought.

Still looks a promising talent though.

Has a bit of everything.

Very promising young player. Showed more than enough to get fans excited for the season he could have.

Think that will come with matches and experience, thought he actually coped reasonably well up until when the wheels started to fall off for us towards the end.

He also seemed to be everywhere and in the right place often. Intelligent and good engine. A lot to like.

Nah he tired in 2nd half. Not like he didn’t try to affect the game but its difficult if your team mates are nowhere when you have possession and there’s no runners ahead of you.

Due to the situation he found himself in, but fair play.

Green hall and t garrett both saying he looks a good future Gana replacement but a bit soon for him to play on a two with him ATM.

Would be massive for us if he can eventually step into ganas shoes.

On the BBC report's rate the players thing he hit 9.05 - that's a crazy high rating from the public for a defensive midfielder who didn't score*.

* did score

His first instinct when he wins the ball is to turn and face the opposition goal. Amazing what a difference that makes to a team. He was great again last night.
