Goalie made one howler no doubt but if a team wallops you 4-0 and you barely touch them it's not the goalie and it's not the striker imo.

V ready for him to go though, hope we get a bid and can move on.

Would say tho we've downgraded in every position we've signed under Dyche?
Messi maybe.

I'd say Pickford was at fault for 2 goals incl. the header inside the 6 yard box.

Not a huge fan, but maybe the stats say a different story, with the focus again more on Dyches abysmal tactics, or rather, lack of them

Actually makes me really fucking mad this.

The football is fucking shocking isn't it.

We basically press teams in the hope they make a mistake and we capitalise.

I get that the situation dictates where we are and that's how it is but it's fucking depressing.

Yep, it's not a great look for Dyche

I'd still like a striker that can actually shoot though. For all his strengths, this is not one of them.

It's an article based on data from just two games.

It's an indicator that we've started the season terribly, rather than proof the club is dragging Dom down. He's been very much part of the problem for over 3 years.

Pin his conversion rate from last season.

I’m bored of watching him.

He’s bored of being here.

Just lumping it up to him with noone for him to flick it on to is abysmal. Hope he leaves and smashes it elsewhere.

All these things can be true at the same time. Dom hasn't been great for awhile, but the lack of creativity around him does him no favours. It's like a death spiral, we make Dom he worse, then he makes us even worse, etc.

This system and ‘tactics’ are clearly demoralising for him, no doubt. Doucourè doesn’t get close to him, McNeil is a left wing back and Harrison’s delivery from the right is generally below par. I’m sure this ebbs away at his confidence which in turn affects finishing.

This snapshot of two games was there last season too.

This is all true, but the ‘we make him worse’ really needs to be expressed as ‘our current tactics are hanging him out to dry and we do nothing to maximise his strengths’.

This for me is the issue. In a limited squad you have to go with your strengths and Dyche isn’t doing that with Dom. Maybe because of limitations elsewhere in the squad, but it’s his job to find a way of playing. The long ball to the big number 9 as a sole tactic probably hasn’t worked anywhere outside of kids footy for decades.
