Looks like he's played about 50 minutes of football since he arrived. He probably didn't have much choice in the move given our finances and he'll have known he was only going to be a utility defender here but he'd have had more game time if he'd stayed, may well have started ahead of Keane and would certainly be at right back while Coleman and Patterson are injured.

Surprised by this one, guess the new manager doesn't rate him?

Probably not mobile enough for the system he wants to play - always a good squad player to have for his dead-ball delivery.

I've never thought much of him other than his set pieces

Read something saying they were playing players out of position rather than him

Big money for him but still think it's a bit of a boot in the bollocks for him. I reckon he'll have thought he'd be strutting around Arsenal or the likes for £150k a week rather than heading off to the Middle East. Probably hits his chances of any more England caps too.

Chelsea struggling to get rid of players but deciding they'll try and add Sancho to the pile.

Not in Lee Carsley's first squad and as you posted won't help his chances of being picked again. Watkins will continue to do well and Solanke should kick on at Spurs.

Will probably set him up for life but is that all he wants?

Solhekol on SSN still reckons there's a reason he's in London for his medical and that Chelsea might still get him. Al Alhi can't sign both him and Osimhen but Chelsea can't match the wages both will be offered.

Could be one of those instances on deadline day, when sky drags the life out of the story to keep people watching but I am still trying to work out how Chelseas is still trying to sign players, as you posted above about Sancho.

Can't really blame Toney. He's never earned big money. Gone from a couple or million a year after tax to 17.5m a year. He's a long time retired

Because Saudi Arabia is like a 7hr flight?

Making shit up to try and keep a story remotely interesting
