My logical brain says we'll be ok this season. We've got some good players, and the manager has enough knowhow to pick up enough ugly points along the way to have us comfortably safe.

And then my illogical brain says ''if there's any club in existence that gets relegated just as they open their brand new stadium, the beacon of all hope for the fans, it's Everton''. Just a nagging worry.

terrible in game management, why leave it so long to change things?

You may as well not bother if you leave it that late.

Fresh legs should have come earlier if that's what your plan is.

I just don't know what he was thinking.

I dunno. I've backed Dyche for most things, and even though I know its knee-jerk, it's just after the transfer window has closed and we're on a bad run defensively, I feel like rolling the dice for a new manager.

Pointless saying it though as we're too skint to, and who is even making the decisions?

We aren't changing him, and we probably shouldn't as we have no money to get anyone better (plus I doubt anyone of note would want to get involved with how things are at the moment, maybe Moyes aside).

The football today was actually some of the best we've seen under him, until it wasn't.

If we're throwing that sort of game away against a team that was literally barely in the game, it's going to be another struggle of a season. We do have some bright areas with some of the newer players, but we also have this insanely fragile confidence and seemingly zero ability to keep a clean sheet. It's tougher this year as the quality of the teams in the league is better, and I don't know if we've safe from points deductions again (?) but the 3 bottom teams will likely need more points than the previous season to stay up you'd imagine. So when you start as we have it's concerning to say the least.

I don't really think Dyche has done a bad job, I think you have to remember what has been going on behind the scenes plus how we're operating with both arms tied behind our back in the transfer market.

He's limited, but I just don't think he's bad. Our issues are mainly elsewhere for me.

I can't imagine many others would come into the club as it is right now either, barring Moyes.

Should've been able to throw on the kids, let alone the new senior signings, at 87 and still see the game out.

Should've been able to celebrate the best player(s) to soak up time and keep the crowd going.
Every manager does.

As usual we're looking at the nearest target to yell at and as usual it's Monday's experts.

I'd like us to change him, but we won't.

1000% on Dyche

They’ve bought on half a team of fresh legs, ok Doucoure for Ndiaye is fine, they score, let’s bring on the least target targetman ever to make sure our desperate punts up field will always gift them the ball back

At whilst they’re firing it into the box from all angles we’ll leave our 6’6 centre back on the bench

Oh and not bother bringing anyone else fresh on either

The only real reason I don't want dyche to go aside from it all being pointless is that if it ends up being Moyes again I can't be arsed with us

He could burn down Goodison and some of yous would let him off cos the grounds made of wood.

This is on him.

It's.a fucking disgrace that today. Disgusting 'management'

He is awful horrid archaic stubborn and massively arrogant.

Get him the fuck out of this club.

Yeah, Beto can’t really hold the ball up and has a 50p head, Tim looked really tired and could hardly run. I would like to see the second and third to see what Keane was doing for those goals.

Trying to be positive, Ndiaye is quality and did really well off the left ala Pieenar. DCL looked sharp, good finish and held the ball up well. Branthwaite should be back after the international break, which also gives O’Brien more time to settle in.

Dyche is in the final year of his contract so the pay off wouldn’t be as much.
