Dyche - HE'S GONE
Re: Dyche
Really don’t Moyes back, but you have to say today wouldn’t happen under him and we’d be organised and solid.
It’s not just losses this season it’s the fact his whole plan and ethos has collapsed. Everything built on solid foundations but is gone. At least 3 goals conceded every game. His tactics simply aren’t effective. His contract has 10 months to run not having it we can’t sack him

Re: Dyche
I knew from when he joined that I wouldn’t gain much enjoyment from watching us play but credit where it’s due he kept us up for two seasons.
Starting the season by conceding 10 goals in three games (two at home) when your main selling point is defensive solidarity puts a massive target on your back though, he can’t have long.

I don't see us pulling the trigger soon, but I agree on the other points.StirlingBlue wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 5:16 pm I knew from when he joined that I wouldn’t gain much enjoyment from watching us play but credit where it’s due he kept us up for two seasons.

Re: Dyche
But it has, against Newcastle when Bernard stole the show, got subbed off after 80 mins with us 2-0 and we lost 3-2.
Can't remember who the manager was, possibly Silva?
Re: Dyche
If he goes he goes, not even arsed.
But any new manager will be getting called out on his idiosyncrasies and will have a “thing” the fans use against him after every loss. Whether he’s negative or too open or whatever.
Said before, but we’ll only see a popular manager when we’re good again and that’s years off.

Re: Dyche
Conceded 3 goals in our last 6 matches of last season. Bring Big Mick into the side and we concede 10 in 3.
No idea why he's not playing O'Brien. Before anyone starts about Keane not making mistakes and playing okay, Bournemouth just scored three goals in the last 10 minutes including 2 free headers.

Re: Dyche
I think todays the day my views on Dyche change. We have the players to do reasonably well, finish mid table. After giving credit to Dyche for keeping us up comfortably last season, three games in I don't think he's changing anything.
It required simple in game management and he could not get that right today. I'm not sure whether Dyche himself really cares, last year of his contract so it get's paid up either way he stays or he's sacked. From a motivational perspective is he assed?

I've been an advocate of Keane but when a defence is leaking goals you change something and he's such an obvious swap for O BrienShogun wrote: ↑Sat Aug 31, 2024 6:00 pm Conceded 3 goals in our last 6 matches of last season. Bring Big Mick into the side and we concede 10 in 3.
