Tim Iroegbunam
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
With Garner and Mangala now in the frame then I think Tim's appearances will be pretty limited. Decent option off the bench though and I think a pretty natural replacement for Gana who will no doubt miss a few games at his age this season.
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Think today might be a bit of an eye opener for us. If he passes this test it will be huge for his season. If he's hooked at half time then hopefully not too much of a blow.
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Dyche did him no favours today, was very good for 75 minutes and dead on his feet for the final 20.
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Very good again, but can’t last beyond 70 minutes.
Was so obvious to everyone he was massively flagging in the last 20.
This is probably the reason we managed to nab him.
Very talented player though.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Tim getting tired shouldn't have been the biggest surprise to anyone who watched the league cup game.
Unfortunately it wasn't obvious to the one man who mattered.

Oh no, you're going to persist with this one
The lad is a cracking player*
*for a bottom half team anyway
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
He looks fucking boss.
But he constantly lets people jog past him. Watch their other chance that goes begging, he does it again and completely lets their number 8 walk past him into the box and we're lucky he doesn't get the ball.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
He’s nowhere near the finished article. But be fair, he’d played well for 70 minutes and he was knackered, everyone could see that. As I’ve said, I was sure it was him coming off for Douc. He shouldn’t have been on the pitch and that was the manager’s choice.

Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Playing regularly in the premier league is a massive step up for Tim in terms of mental and physical workload. I think he’s done much better than could be expected so far and we might have got a bargain, but I can’t see him playing 90 mins every week as he’ll burn out if he doesn’t get a rest from time to time. Like when a foreign player comes to the prem, he might need a season to adjust to the level. The heat was a major factor yesterday though tbf and I was quite surprised by how we approached the game from the off.
Re: Tim Iroegbunam
Poor Iroegbunam. Played so well for 70 mins, his manager could have taken him off - instead he gets exposed on MOTD as the weak link, when he could have come off to a standing ovation and Garner in his place to track the runners.
Disgraceful, Dyche.
